It has been observed that the Consumer Electronic Association 2019 was full of smart home items.
In this blog, we will talk about some of the leading smart home items that have been seen at CES this year.
- Voice Assistant-smart switches
It is worth noting that many items that were seen on the CES were in actual not completely new, but rather plenty of firms came up with their model from the young product section, and that consists intelligent switches containing in-built digital assistant.
It has been some time with the introduction of Ecobee Switch+, but at CES 2019, people observed some firms launching their own models.
It consisted of-
- Leviton’s Decora Voice with Alexa
- TP-Link’s Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Light Switch having Voice Assistant
However, in the last one, no announcements have been made regarding which digital assistant it shall be paired with.
- Lenovo Smart Clock
All over, people just love Google’s Home Hub which is even considered as one of the most amazing item for 2018, but frankly it’s a bit big for keeping it bedside while sleeping. So here comes the’ Lenovo Smart Clock’.
This clock is a precisely small model than the Home Hub, flashing 4″ display rather than 7″. It can let you know not only the time but also about the events which are about to come with the help of a calendar. People can easily put alarms, timers and switch off the alarms. It will be available soon. Most probably at the time of spring.
- Video Doorbells
‘Video doorbell’ is among the most popular items of the last year. Nest and Ring really deserve praise for the work done by them for the models made by them. But after CES, people got lot many options of selecting from plenty of items.
- Maximus launched a video doorbell having amazing dual cameras (completely new for the audience)-The major camera parts are pointed outside like any simple video bell, but the other camera point is situated at the door’s steps so that it can take the picture of the item put near the door.
- TP-Link made an announcement regarding a video doorbell.
And also Ring has made a very good effort which is known as the Door View Cam. It is a digital peephole that’s meant to replace the present peephole on the doors.
