How to Modify your Display Language in Windows 10

Windows 10 is capable of switching the default language. You may not need to worry anymore as your new PC with Windows 10 can switch between thirty different languages. If you feel to change to your preferred language or are not able to freely access your system due to preset default language you can opt to switch it at any time you like.
This feature comes in handy when multiple users work on the same computer and have different language preferences. It can also be possible that you have bought your new PC from online stores, and your PC has been shipped from some other country with different language preferences.
How to download and install a Language
In your new Windows 10, you can download and install different languages to access your interface items, view menu and dialogue boxes in your desired language.    If you want to install and set a new default language to follow the steps given below.
  1. Sign in to your administrative account.
  2. Hold “Windows+1” to access “Settings.”
  3. Now select “Time &Language” option.
  4. Go to “Region & language” in time & language Window.
  5. Now click on “Add a language” option.
After selecting the “Add a language” option, you will be redirected to all the available languages that can be installed. Select the language from the list to download the one you wish to set as your new default language.
Now head back to the Time & language Window, where you will find the downloaded language which you have selected. Now select the “Set as default” option to set your new default language.
How to Set a New language for Welcome Screen and New User Account
Even after changing the desired language in your user account, it is still possible that your start menu, welcome screen, sign in, sign out or shut down screen is still displaying in the previous default language. You may not need to panic as it is not uncommon to happen. So if you want to apply your new default language on all the user accounts on your system, follow these steps given below.
  1. First, select the “Control Panel” option.
  2. Now from the control panel select “Region.”
  3. Select the “Administrative” tab from the region window.
  4. Select “Copy settings” button.
  5. Now use the current user settings and choose the “OK” button.
By following these steps, you can copy the user settings from any user you wish and apply that language to all other accounts. From this Window, you can also preset the current language as default for any new user account also. So follow the steps correctly, and you will easily switch your default language.
